A Progressive Design Build project to enhance coastal and stormwater resiliency for Battery Park City; the BPCA Resiliency effort includes the reconstruction of one mile of coastline to incorporate a new flood protection system, integrated within the existing historical and community context. As part of the BPCA Consulting Engineer team, OFTN and AECOM developed a suite of preliminary project alternatives, scoped the PDB contract, and structured and managed the competitive procurement process. The team is currently providing technical reviews and support during design development, and will manage QA/QC on behalf of BPCA during construction.
