As a follow-on to the Open Space and Connectivity Strategic Plan for Geneva, OFTN continued to work with the city and local non-profits to develop a sequential approach for implementing the Lehigh Valley Rail Trail. Given limited budgets, the design emphasized light touch solutions and leveraged remnant structures and right of ways. The team identified and designed a first phase project, a universally accessible primary entrance to the trail system at Clark Street, which was sized and configured to allow access for future construction activities on the raised trail line.
